During long trips by car with my son (7 yrs old) we play a game: I say an object and he has to invent a short story with that object as the main character. And then viceversa (he defines the object and I invent the story).

Today I said ‘butterfly’ and he invented the tale of the butterfly with just one wing who was brave enough and worked hard enough to win speed races against ‘regular’ butterflies. He tried before building a paper made fake wing but he couldn’t make it work and moreover he understood that having one wing is not that bad if you can win speed races! đŸ™‚

I don’t know if this is a unconscious elaboration of watching the London 2012 Paralympics this summer (he was pretty attracted by the event and asked tons of questions) but … I like the story.
