In this period of economic downturn, the most are complaining and cutting, others are trying to find solutions and competitive advantage.

What you feel around is that big companies are all having problems, while small ones are OR going bankrupt OR having great deals!

I’ve found (one of the reasons) of this strange effect reading this interesting post in the Harvard Business Publishing site. Here is the key sentence:

We simply don’t trust companies anymore. We trust people. And in big companies, it’s hard to even find a person to trust as we scream "operator" into our telephones only to get transferred to another menu whose options have changed.

In small companies we establish relationship with people and relationship with people is always the key for success … or failure! So small is best 🙂

Do you see any difference in the relationship with small and big companies in these days?
