As you know if you read this blog, I’m involved in studying the relationship between IT departments and other departments and how this relationship is different.
A client of mine has received this email recently:
Why do we need all these docs / emails to authorize / perform this task? Change the way in which you do this stuff and do it in a better way!
Here is one of the differences: who can use a mouse, feels himself authorized to explain to IT guys that they are wrong, that they have to change and often how to change … no matter if they are right or wrong, no matter if they know what are talking about.
