Thanks to the UnToccoDiZenzero blog, here is the 2008 Pesto World Championship taking place in my hometown: Genova.

The second Pesto Championship will be held in Genoa’s historic Palazzo Ducale, Saturday the 19th of April 2008. 100 competitors coming from all over the world will make Genoa pesto exclusively with a mortar and using only authentic ingredients. As it was in the first edition, the Championship is open to both professional and amateur cooks.
