Not surprised at all!
Whether one ” believes” those things are “true” about companies today…one would ABSOLUTELY infer those very tenets if all they did was sample Managers’ behaviors:
– “…do as little as possible…”: Managers do not delegate.
– “…do not care about quality…”: Managers double check everything.
– “… are not smart enough…”: Managers give overly detailed instructions that include the PROCESS rather than the OUTCOME.
This is NORMAL…even if terribly ineffective and inefficient.
