I’ve met some leaders, not many.

I’ve the privilege to work with some of them.

Among other characteristics, I want to point out something that they share.

They are, in some way, ignorant on the technical side of job of their company / unit / group. They can understand just the big picture, the high level structure.

They don’t understand the HOW something can be done and (and that’s the second key point) they understand WHAT is needed. It’s like if they feel the correct direction to success …

Understanding too much the HOW, is like putting barriers to a possible solutions: there are things you don’t consider at all because you presume to know they cannot work or they cannot be done.

So .. it’s better that I stop studying! 🙂
