I’m a lucky person for many reasons. One among others is that I work for a company where MANY other people in the world would like to work.
During a lesson on Making Innovation (you’ll read many quotes from these lessons in the next weeks), a colleague of mine came for a speech on the topic.
I was really impressed on something he said:
In companies where innovation is very important, the problem is not finding the budget but finding good ideas.
Well, I know that as every company we DO have severe budget constraints but I understood the message: let’s not waist money in what it is not a good idea, in what it is not innovation. Let’s focus on an organic and ‘well done’ process of finding and developing real innovation.
