I have seen the same kind of attitude you were mentioning in lots of big organizations. In the end, procedures are never questioned or challenged, the same old habits are carried on even when they become obsolete and they do not have any positive effect.

Understanding the principles is fundamental, as it is the only way to challenge broken procedures and, eventually, improving organizations and teams.]]></description>
