A bit ‘extreme’ but … it’s something that we should take in mind while writing to anyone.

If you delete the e-mail and make a note to reply via another method (phone, face to face, etc) I can see this being useful.
I see a lot of power in the ability for one person in a group to aska question on behalf of the group (perhaps copying everyone, perhaps not). In this scenario, I think it’s better to use e-mail to Reply to All, and answer the question clearly and correctly for everyone in the group. Well worth the investment of a few extra minutes to avoid repeats of the same question later.
