Sometimes it's hard to get a time slot from your boss. And this is for several reasons (that I seldom agree with):
- usually bosses are busy (do you know a boss that is not?)
- often they work on higher priority tasks
- often they are busy with other people with higher role or importance
- sometimes they are not much ?personally? interested in that specific topic (this is especially true in high technical depts.)
- …
So what happens when you (try to) rise a problem to your boss SEVERAL times with no success and then, without warning, it explodes??? You are in troubles!!!
What?s the solution in this case?? No other possibility: do it yourself! ACT! Solve the problem and go to your boss just if the problem is so big that you can?t get delegation to solve it.
